LA TENANT BILL OF RIGHTS

During the pandemic, the LA County Board of Supervisors exercised its emergency powers to establish much needed protections for tenants across all 88 municipalities in the county. But the housing crisis existed before the pandemic and will continue to ravage our communities if our elected officials don’t take the necessary steps to stabilize our neighborhoods.

All tenants across Los Angeles County have a right to affordable, secure, and habitable housing free from harassment and discrimination. We demand these basic rights and we’ve put together a slate of policies to ensure they are protected. We demand an LA Tenant Bill of Rights for all tenants in Los Angeles County. Download our zine to learn more about our proposal and endorse the LA County Tenant Bill of Rights.
