KEEP LA HOUSED IS A COALITION OF TENANTS, ORGANIZERS, AND PUBLIC INTEREST LAWYERS fighting for A TENANT BILL OF RIGHTS IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY and city.

Thanks to advocacy from community members like you, we have built a robust movement that has won significant protections in our Tenant Bill of Rights in both LA County and City. While we've made progress, we still have a lot of work to do to make sure our neighbors can stay housed. Right now, in the City of LA we are fighting for:

  • Preservation of Measure ULA, the historic transfer tax passed by LA voters in 2022 that provides LA’s biggest source of funding for affordable housing and homelessness prevention.

  • Implementation of the newly strengthened Los Angeles Rent Stabilization Ordinance (LARSO), to keep rent increases stable and fair in the city of LA

Read about our recent victory to strengthen LARSO here.

If you believe in taxing the rich to build housing, stabilizing rents, preventing landlord harassment, and more, we need your support!
